چکیده
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to assess the effect a single session cerebellar anodal transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) on timed up and go test (TUG) with foot placement in patients chronic stroke. Methods: Twenty stroke participated clinical trial. TUG carried out four different positions, 1- spontaneous positions (SP), 2- symmetrical (SYP), 3- asymmetrical (PBNP), paretic behind non-paretic foot, 4- (NPBP), nonparetic before after using tDCS. Anodal tDCS (1.5 mA) applied over cerebellum for 20 minutes. Results: time significantly at all positions: SP (P = 0.012), SYP 0.010), PBNP 0.047), NPBP 0.037). Conclusions: It seems that can be useful method improving functional balance patients.

The effect of Transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) on the lower limb function with & without Step exercise in chronic stroke patients: a randomized control clinical trial
Introduction: The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of one-session transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) of cerebral cortex with and without step practice on foot function in patients with chronic stroke. Materials and Methods: It was an interventional and clinical trial study. Forty patients with chronic stroke were randomly assigned into four groups, Sham tDCS, tDCS, t...

[Purpose] This study was conducted to investigate the effect of exercise training using transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) on breathing in patients with chronic stroke patients. [Subjects and Methods] Thirty chronic stroke patients who do not show abnormal response to electric stimulation were enrolled in this study and each 15 subjects were randomized either into the study group an...
متن کاملEffects of Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS) on Chronic Pain in Spinal Cord Injured Patients
Introduction: Pain following spinal cord injury (SCI) is notoriously difficult to manage and often refractory to treatment. Novel approaches, such as non-invasive brain stimulation, targeting central mechanisms associated with chronic pain, have shown early promise as a safe treatment in various patient groups, including spinal cord injury. To date the number of small clinical trials using non-...

Objective: Previous studies have reported dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC) and posterior parietal (PPC) activation during the performance of spatial working memory (SWM), so we decided to investigate the comparison of Transcranial Direct current stimulation (tDCS) effect between these two areas. Methods: Fifty-four healthy right-handed students (27 female, 27 male; age= 24.3±.2 years) w...
متن کاملTranscranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) and language
Transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS), a non-invasive neuromodulation technique inducing prolonged brain excitability changes and promoting cerebral plasticity, is a promising option for neurorehabilitation. Here, we review progress in research on tDCS and language functions and on the potential role of tDCS in the treatment of post-stroke aphasia. Currently available data suggest that...
